ADVANCING RESEARCH IN SIGNAL, IMAGE AND VIDEO PROCESSING
The Center runs a multidisciplinary research program involving more than 9 faculty members and 10 research scholars from various departments of engineering of the institute. The Center has started its functioning in its state-of-the-art Signal, Image and Video Processing Laboratory equipped with all the ultra modern machinery.
Apart from carrying out frontier research in the areas mentioned above, the center aims at creating technologies that can be commercially exploited by industries. The key aim of center is to attract and tap the top class talent to carryout frontier research in multimedia signal processing.
Establishing the State-of-the art- facilities to carry out research work in Signal, Image and video processing.
To promote the multi-disciplinary research in the area of multimedia signal processing.
Develop long term R&D capability as evidenced by increase in publications in refereed journals, a joint publication with international authors, joint programs/projects/exchanges with international research organizations, publication of books, and technical reports.
