Description of Technology

Machine learning deals with computational approaches of learning from data. It is subfield of a broader family Artificial Intelligence. In today's era, wide spectrum of products emphasis on inbuilt intelligent behaviour, which opens ample scope and opportunity of contribution in the areas of AI and machine learning. Data science being wide field is also getting attention of many practitioners and researchers. Recent advancement in communication and computational technologies lead to generation/availability of big data. Researchers are striving for development of innovative methods for extraction of patterns from big data that can help taking business decisions. Machine learning and Deep learning are widely exploited for processing big data and extracting patterns for use in decision making.

Objectives

• To promote research and real-time projects in applications of machine learning and data science
• To establish a good industry liaison/collaboration in the areas of AI, machine learning and Data analytics
• To enhance awareness and develop skills in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep learning, Data analytics and Cloud Computing by conducting/participating events, activities and competitions
