The Soft Skills and Science Cell aims to shape and develop professional traits of an engineer and impart interpersonal skills that influence how well a person can work or interact on professional platforms. The cell is uniquely placed to make a significant contribution to the world of technical education, both because of the nature of the cell and by virtue of its location in one of India's premier science and technology institutions. The cell currently has 4 full-time faculty members, organized into 3 divisions along with broad disciplinary areas – Soft Skills, Management and Social Sciences and Engineering Sciences. They emphasize inculcating Soft Skills, Management Skills and Engineering Sciences in engineering graduates.
To enrich extensively to our civilization tradition of excellence in learning, to acquire knowledge, enlightenment, and self-realization in the universally relevant context of the 21st century.

The Soft Skills Section is associated with the learner's "EQ" (Emotional Intelligence Quotient), the cluster of personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, interpersonal skills, managing people, leadership, etc. that defines an inseparable relationship among the society, industry and its associated stakeholders. The Soft Skills Section offers subjects such as Communication Skills and Contributor Personality Development Program to inculcate the essence of effective communication in their professional life through the everlasting experience of real-time classroom teaching and usage of the well-equipped language laboratory.
The Engineering Sciences section of the SSS cell is aimed to educate students for fundamental and applied sciences. It is engaged in fulfilling the much-needed engineering sciences requirements of the regular B.E program. The curriculum of Engineering Physics contains topics such as Acoustic, LASER, Superconductivity, Simple Harmonic Motion, Ultrasonic, and Semiconductors. The physics laboratory gives the introduction of basic electronics components like resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, etc. This course contains basic information about Cathode Ray Oscilloscope and Function Generator. There are some experiments that are related to the basics of semiconductors like V-I characteristics of different diodes, Band gap, and resistivity measurement of semiconductors by the Four Probe technique. In this laboratory, students perform the practical on applications of semiconductors like solar cells and Hall Effect. Laboratory also includes experiments related to ultrasonic sound waves, Fiber Optics, Magnetic Materials, and Laser. The section also provides opportunities for students to prepare Engineering Science-based experiments under A.D.I.T Science Club.
The demand for professionally trained managers in India is increasing day by day because of growing competition and rapid industrialization. To achieve professional competence, managers, both present and prospective, are required to be fully equipped with principles of Management. Such practical knowledge towards that direction was provided by Management Social Sciences faculty. All discipline of engineering is an important and learned profession. And engineers are expected to exhibit the highest standards of honesty and integrity. Engineering has a direct and vital impact on the quality of life for all people. Quality such as honesty, impartiality, fairness, and equity are tough in the subject of Professional Ethics. A constitution is a set of rules and regulations used to govern the democratic Nation. Constitution of India has provided us Fundamental Rights, Duties, Reservation, and many more. In a democracy, everything works as per the constitution. Therefore, a basic understanding of the constitution is required on part of every citizen including a person from all engineering branches. To serve this purpose basic understanding of the Constitution was imparted under the subject title Indian Constitution.
